Walther Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Our Lady of Tepeyac with a sharp 14-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Isabella Ziupsnys made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Selah Argueta, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Leslie Anguiano was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Walther Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 10.8.

Rickover Naval's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Walther Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
