The Sidney Yellowjackets won the last time they faced the West Carrollton Pirates, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Sidney walked away with a 44-35 win over West Carrollton.
West Carrollton's loss came despite strong showings from Selena Frost and Iyanna Thompson. Frost scored 16 points along with five rebounds, while Thompson scored eight points along with two steals.
Sidney has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for West Carrollton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will take on Fairborn at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Fairborn is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for West Carrollton, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Tippecanoe at 11:45 a.m.
