The Seaforth Hawks struggled with assists on Thursday (the Southeast Alamance Stallions had nine more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Seaforth took a 70-52 bruising from the Stallions.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Declan Lindquist, who scored seven points. Noah Lewis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Southeast Alamance found their leader in underclassman Jerry Sims, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sims has scored at least a third of Southeast Alamance's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Waida, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Seaforth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Southeast Alamance, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

One thing working in Cummings' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
