Drew Kates Goes Supernova in Richland Win
Starting off the list is Richland's Drew Kates, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kates threw for 399 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 334 passing yards.
The win (which was Richland's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Kates and Richland will square off against Ryan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Guillory Jr Made His Presence Known in Aledo's 59-14 Win
Raycine Guillory Jr's big game helped extend Aledo's winning streak to 11 on Friday. Guillory Jr turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards.
For the year, Guillory Jr has averaged 14.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had nine rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 24.

Aledo Wins 11th-Straight Thanks to Gavin Beard
Gavin Beard's big game helped extend Aledo's winning streak to 11 on Friday. Beard turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 251 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 41 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
For the season, Beard has thrown 31 touchdowns while averaging 214.1 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he was only averaging 34 passing yards per game.

Kaydon Finley Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Aledo was led to victory by Kaydon Finley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Finley picked up 169 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ receiving yards (101.1) per game. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 92 yards.
For the season, Finley has caught 19 touchdowns while averaging 101.1 receiving yards per game.

Gibson Came Up Big in Richland's 55-27 Victory
The second Richland player making an appearance here is Jayshon Gibson, and for good reason. He rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns.
For the year, Gibson has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 72.2 rushing yards per game.
