Marquette faced Parkway Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs skirted past the Colts 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won four in a row.

Martin Kruchowski paced Marquette's offense, picking up ten kills. Kruchowski got some help from Alex Danyluck and his 21 assists.

Despite the loss, Parkway Central still got an impressive performance from Gokul Baladhandauthabani, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Marquette's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Parkway Central, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5-1.
