Don Soffer Aventura lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nimrod Amiel Eilon, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Amiel Eilon grabbed two or more steals. Tom Sela was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Don Soffer Aventura has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for LaSalle, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.
Don Soffer Aventura will take on Coral Springs Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Springs Charter is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for LaSalle, they will head out on the road to square off against Mater Brickell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Mater Brickell Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday.
