Union County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caiden Tanner, who threw for 344 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Braylen Rader also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Fellowship Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Granby, who threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Josh Milhollin was another key contributor, picking up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Fellowship Christian, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union County will take on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. As for Fellowship Christian, they will look to defend their home field on November 11th against Redan at 1:00 p.m. Redan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Fellowship Christian is ranked 104th).
