The Seton Catholic Central Knights lost against the Northern Adirondack Bobcats two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Seton Catholic Central lost to Northern Adirondack at home by a decisive 49-33 margin. Seton Catholic Central was down 47-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Seton Catholic Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Grace Trombley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Gabriella Conti who scored 13 points along with two steals. That was a full 39.4% of Seton Catholic Central's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Seton Catholic Central now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Northern Adirondack, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic Central will take on Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Boquet Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Tuesday. As for Northern Adirondack, they will be playing at home against Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
