Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Dayton was not quite Sunnyside Christian's equal in the second half two weeks ago. They received a blow as they fell 26-12 to the Knights. Having soared to a lofty 94 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.
Waitsburg's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
