Meanwhile, Yuma waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Demons by a score of 15-10. 15 seems to be a good number for the Criminals as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Yuma let Derryel Medel and Elia Palencia run wild. Medel went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Palencia scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cibola hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. However, it's not like Yuma struggles in that department as they've averaged .364. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
