There's no place like home for Seguin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Burbank Bulldogs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Matadors have posted since February 27th.

Seguin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Welfel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ian Moreno also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Seguin is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Burbank, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
