Softball Recap: Colton Picks Up 13th Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Colton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Holly Heitstuman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Nollmeyer, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Colton's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Colton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
