The Trinity Leadership Tigers and the Whitesboro Bearcats squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Trinity Leadership Tigers had to settle for second. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 53-29 walloping at the hands of the Bearcats. Trinity Leadership has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Trinity Leadership still got an impressive performance from Alaja Jones, who scored 17 points.
Trinity Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Whitesboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-16 record this season.
Trinity Leadership does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitesboro, they will take on Rains at TBD on Thursday. Whitesboro is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
