After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kirtland, Wickliffe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Chagrin Falls Tigers as they made off with a 28-6 victory. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Wickliffe pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.3 points over those games. As for Chagrin Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wickliffe will square off against Rootstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Blue Devils 11, the Rovers 10.9) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Chagrin Falls, they will take on Kirtland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
