The Harvest Prep Academy Eagle will look to defend their home court on Monday against the A+ Charter School Maricopa at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Harvest Prep Academy came up short against Tohono O'Odham and fell 52-40.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was KJ Legette, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Cordova, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Harvest Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, A+ Charter School lost to James Madison Preparatory School at home by a decisive 61-43 margin on Friday.
Harvest Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for A+ Charter School, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
