After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Catawba Ridge, Northwestern was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the South Pointe Stallions 15-0. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.
Abby Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
