It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Palo Alto Vikings had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Seaside 55-21 at home. The victory was nothing new for Palo Alto as they're now sitting on three straight.
Jeremiah Madrigal went supernova for Palo Alto, rushing for 173 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Jason Auzenne was another key contributor, gaining 111 total yards and two touchdowns.
Palo Alto has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 6-5 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points per game. As for Seaside, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Palo Alto will stay at home for another week and welcome Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Seaside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
