Zhieyah Rolack and Janiyah Middlebrook were among the main playmakers for Meadowdale as the former dropped a double-double on 24 points and 19 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rolack has scored at least a third of Meadowdale's points. Another player making a difference was Jayla Walker, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Miami Trace suffered their biggest defeat since November 22, 2023 on Wednesday. Their tough 56-32 defeat to Jackson might stick with them for a while. Miami Trace has struggled against Jackson recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meadowdale's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Miami Trace, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
