Edgewood entered their tilt with Scottsburg on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Edgewood not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Scottsburg between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Olivia Edgeman paced Edgewood's offense, picking up 12 kills. Edgeman got some help from Jenna Abram and her 20 assists. Abram also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Siegelin, racking up two apiece.

Edgewood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Scottsburg, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Edgewood is taking a road trip to face off against Shakamak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Scottsburg, they will be playing at home against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
