The Castle Rock Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-41 bruising from Eatonville. Castle Rock has not had much luck with Eatonville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Leading Eatonville to victory were Hunter Klumpar and Amari Samuel. Klumpar shot 4-for-11 from long range and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Samuel scored 24 points. The game was Klumpar's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Clevenger, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Castle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eatonville, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Castle Rock will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Friday Harbor at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th. Eatonville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Morton/White Pass at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Morton/White Pass is ranked 246th, while Eatonville is ranked 227th).
