The Creekside Seminoles will head out on the road to square off against the Sandy Creek Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Creekside couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They suffered a rough 5-0 defeat at the hands of Callaway on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Sandy Creek came up short against Trinity Christian on Saturday and fell 3-1. Sandy Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their goal came courtesy of
Angela Colindres, who's now up to three this season.
Creekside took their victory against Sandy Creek when the teams last played back in April of 2015 by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Creekside since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
