Del Norte got a solid performance out of senior Keegan Medina, who picked up 108 yards on the ground and accumulated 272 passing yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Medina has been a consistent playmaker for Del Norte as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Norwood weren't quite Sargent's equal in the second half when they met. Norwood were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 22-27 to Sargent. This makes it the second loss in a row for Norwood.
