Palos Verdes has gone a perfect 3-0 against Leuzinger recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sea Kings will take on the Olympians at 8:30 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,016 yards in their previous games.
Palos Verdes lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Culver City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Sea Kings simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Centaurs 48-7. With the Sea Kings ahead 28-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

A big part of Palos Verdes' victory came down to the chemistry between Ryan Rakowski and his top target Morley Boyd. Rakowski threw for 304 yards and four TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes while Boyd picked up 200 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Boyd is becoming a predictor of Palos Verdes' success: when he posts at least 80 receiving yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Palos Verdes proved: they limited Culver City to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. The Sea Kings' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed five yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 6.2 on average over their last five games.
Meanwhile, Leuzinger hadn't done well against Inglewood recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Olympians came out on top against the Sentinels by a score of 43-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Olympians.
Palos Verdes better keep an eye on Journee Tonga. He was instrumental in Leuzinger's win, rushing for 154 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also picking up 58 receiving yards and one score. Tonga's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Russell Sekona was another key player, throwing for 256 yards and three TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes.
Palos Verdes' record is now 4-2. As for Leuzinger, their record now sits at 4-1.
Thursday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Rakowski and Sekona. Rakowski just won't slow down this season and has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 206.7 passing yards per game. Sekona has been a dominant force too and has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 226 passing yards per game.
Palos Verdes beat Leuzinger 21-14 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Tonga, who rushed for 279 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Sea Kings still be able to contain Tonga? There's only one way to find out.
