Like Flanagan, Nova also got a great game from a two-way player: Dasia Davis. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Davis also tossed a walk, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

The victory got Flanagan back to even at 4-4. As for Nova, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Flanagan skirted past Nova 14-12 in their previous meeting back in February. Does Flanagan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Nova turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
