Lake Mary Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Calvary Christian Academy scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Lake Mary Prep still came out on top. Lake Mary Prep took their matchup against Calvary Christian Academy 70-57.
Meanwhile, Altamonte Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. Their rough 84-61 loss to Lake Howell might stick with them for a while. Altamonte Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-21.
Despite the defeat, Altamonte Christian had strong showings from Billings, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds, and Ryan Almeda, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Billings has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marcus Goss Jr., who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Lake Mary Prep now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Altamonte Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-7.
