Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morton). Everything went their way against the Streator Bulldogs on Friday as Morton made off with a 20-1 win. The Potters haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cameron Crawford was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Crawford was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Hudson Lovell was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Brandon Sieben was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Morton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Morton's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Streator, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Morton will face off against Bartlett at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Streator, they will challenge Newark at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Streator is facing Newark at the right time seeing as Newark is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
