The Beulah Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Beauregard by a score of 30-28. Beulah lost against Beauregard in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-38 score last time.
Among those leading the charge was Cooper Watson, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lindsey Moulton, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Beulah's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Loachapoka the next time they take the court. Beulah will host Loachapoka at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Beauregard will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
