There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll dive into that and more in this week's report.
Can't Touch This
Lincoln got a 62 - 6 win over Grove City last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Justus Harris. Harris ran for 177 yards and also punched in three touchdowns. That performance landed Harris among the top power-ranked players for the week.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
Hilliard Bradley has been an offensive powerhouse for six straight weeks after the team lit up the scoreboard again last week. Everything went its way against Worthington Kilbourne as it secured a 48 - 10 win. At 38 points, that marked Hilliard Bradley's largest margin of victory so far this year. With seven consecutive wins, Hilliard Bradley boasts the longest winning streak of any team in the rankings.
Movin on Up
Granville claimed most-improved honors this week by climbing the power ranking ladder seven rungs after its game against Licking Valley. Granville blew past Licking Valley 38 - 14. Licking Valley had come in flaunting an aggressive defense allowing an average of only 12 points per game, but that obviously didn't scare off Granville.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Lancaster (6th in the power rankings) and Reynoldsburg (3rd). Both teams are entering with last-week wins under their belts. Of course, Reynoldsburg and Lancaster can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Thursday which team falters and which extends its success.
