In what's become a running theme this season, Loris gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Aynor as Loris made off with a 53-30 victory. Given Loris' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Aynor is ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Battery Creek's game on Thursday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 51-39 win over Hanahan.
Loris has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Battery Creek, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11.
