The Cincinnatus Central Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between them and Solvay wasn't particularly close, with Cincinnatus Central falling 47-28. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cincinnatus Central of the 45-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Neonna Turk had a dynamite game for Solvay, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Turk is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ciara Togni, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Cincinnatus Central dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Solvay, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17.
Cincinnatus Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Solvay also has no future games currently scheduled.
