Crater waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Churchill Lancers with a sharp 8-1 victory. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Crater's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Churchill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crater will host Thurston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Churchill, they will challenge Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Millers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.75 runs per game on average), something the Lancers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
