Olympia had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Camp Point Central Panthers with a sharp 9-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Olympia's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Camp Point Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Olympia will challenge Beardstown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Camp Point Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Hamilton/Warsaw at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
