They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to Franklin Road Christian. Franklin Classical School was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Franklin Road Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Thursday.
It was another big night for Noah Pence, who shot 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 35 points and nine rebounds for Franklin Road Christian. Pence is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Chase Prince was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Franklin Classical School's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Franklin Road Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.
Franklin Classical School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin Road Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pleasant View Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 19th.
