Basketball Recap: Bear Creek Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Bear Creek extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Eddie Andeola. The Bear Creek Bruins walked away with a 66-58 win over the Bradshaw Christian The Pride on Monday thanks in part to Andeola, who posted 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Loss or not, Bradshaw Christian got some senior leadership from Ethan Rickert and Aiden Gordon. Rickert almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds, while Gordon went 5 of 9 on his way to 18 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for Rickert. Sam Amezcua was another key player, putting up five points.

Bear Creek's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Bear Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-52 defeat against Edison on the 29th. As for Bradshaw Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-54 win against Amador on the 28th.
