Basketball Game Preview: First Baptist Saints vs. Prestonwood Christian North

The First Baptist Saints will head out to face off against Prestonwood Christian North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Prestonwood Christian North will be up against a hot First Baptist team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. First Baptist really took it to Ovilla Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-46 victory.

Georgia Alford continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points along with six boards and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Meredith Quinn was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.

First Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 23 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Prestonwood Christian North was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Garland Christian Academy 60-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for Prestonwood Christian North.

First Baptist's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Prestonwood Christian North, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
