Softball Recap: Hamilton Has No Trouble Against Badin

Badin typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Hamilton proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Big Blue, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Badin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Lakota West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Badin, they will face off against Bishop Fenwick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
