Potosi waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 68-35 victory over Ste. Genevieve at home. Given Potosi's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Ste. Genevieve is ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kingston posted their biggest win since November 27, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Bismarck with a sharp 65-39 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kingston has posted against Bismarck since February 7, 2018.
Potosi's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Kingston, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
