The Chiawana Riverhawks had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-32 win over Moses Lake. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Moses Lake's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brady Jay, who threw for 416 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyson Thomas, who picked up 167 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Chiawana's victory was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.6 points per game. As for Moses Lake, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.
Chiawana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Moses Lake also has no future games currently scheduled.
