Jordan dropped their record down to 6-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 23-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dymally Challengers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Challengers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-12 on April 7th.
Nicole Buenrostro was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Araceli Aguilar was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
As for Dymally, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.3 runs over those games.
