St. Teresa took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They breezed by the Urbana Tigers at home to the tune of 40-8. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Caiden Kernaghan had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 32 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. Teresa was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 417 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Urbana only gained 173.
