Despite the loss, Grace Christian still got an impressive performance from Davis Reid, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Reid hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Caleb Cashion, who scored 11 points.
Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fishburne Military, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-12.
Grace Christian will head out on the road to challenge Ridgeview Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Ridgeview Christian is ranked 291st, while Grace Christian is ranked 271st). Fishburne Military won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Roanoke Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Roanoke Catholic has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 29.
