The Argyle Scots won the last time they faced the Salem Generals, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Argyle breezed by Salem on the road to the tune of 69-32. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-14.
Despite the loss, Salem still got an impressive performance from Josh Harrington, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Harrington scored a full 37.5% of Salem's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Argyle's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Argyle will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Ann at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fort Ann focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday. As for Salem, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
