Central Prairie recap Oct. 23, 2012
LaCrosse extended the longest winning streak in Central Prairie this week by beating Ellinwood, 54-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Leopards.
LaCrosse took down the Eagles 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jack Garcia threw for 131 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 41 yards in the win.
Jon Webster's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Kip Keeley chipped in 175 yards. Taylor Yohe helped LaCrosse's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
William Storie was the best wideout in the league this week as the Leopards bested Ellinwood. Storie racked up three receptions for 96 yards.
LaCrosse's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Leopards feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garcia has thrown for 887 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Keeley has 15 catches for 286 yards. Levi Morss leads the league in rushing with 1255 yards.
LaCrosse led Central Prairie in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Dusty Beam's team. Garcia in the win.
