Armwood came up short on Friday despite Jayden Dryden delivering his best game to date. Dryden dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 15.1 points per game. He also posted seven blocks, which is notable because Armwood is 4-1 when he posts at least five blocks, but 2-3 otherwise.

Dryden and Armwood will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillsborough at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
