Make it eight blowout wins for the Harvest Christian Academy Lions this season. They were the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over Alden-Hebron. The win was familiar territory for Harvest Christian Academy who now have five in a row.
Harvest Christian Academy was led to victory by Ellie Semerau and Daphne Brown. Semerau scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Brown almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine assists. Semerau is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Izzy Abraham, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Harvest Christian Academy now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Alden-Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 20-9.
Harvest Christian Academy will square off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Alden-Hebron, they and the Sobos will face off at 2:30 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
