Mooreville lost to Tupelo back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Troopers were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Golden Wave. The result was nothing new for the Troopers, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Mooreville and bumps their season record up to 18-7. As for Tupelo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Mooreville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-6 defeat against East Union on the 14th. As for Tupelo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Lafayette on the 15th.
