They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Pacific Pirates by the margin of a single free throw, 85-84. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-55 two weeks ago.
Pacific's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maurice Fitzgerald, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 26 boards. With that strong performance, Fitzgerald is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game.
