Artesia extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping their season record up to 16-6 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Lovington Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Lovington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

For Lovington's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Gutierrez, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Another was Camon Ochoa, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
