The Big Pine Warriors can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 55-32 margin over Owens Valley. Big Pine's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Big Pine was led to victory by Jayden Barlow and Adam Miller. Barlow scored eight points, while Miller scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Damien Hottendorf was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Big Pine's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Owens Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Big Pine will head out on the road to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owens Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Baker at 3:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
