Georgia School for the Deaf lost against Jacksonville Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 75-22 score last time.
Leading Jacksonville Christian Academy to victory were Jesse Gannaway and Noah Lee. Gannaway scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals, while Lee dropped a double-double on 17 points and 26 rebounds. The match was Lee's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Bryson Dowdey was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Georgia School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgia School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dalton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 23, 2024. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Coosa Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
